Lady T, as she is affectionately referred to as, is the proud mother of five children, Khalil, Anastasia, Marissa, Derrick Jr., and Kiala, along with countless other youth and young adults who bestow her with the honor of calling her “mom”.

Lady Tanyhill was born and raised in the city of Syracuse, New York, graduating from Henninger High School, Class of 1996! 

Sensing a call on her life, Lady Tanyhill went to her Pastor, the Rev. Dr. David L.  Tanyhill Jr., and he encouraged her to enroll in school, and thus, in 2005, she graduated from International Seminary, Plymouth, Florida, receiving her “Diploma in Practical Theology”, and on March 15, 2009, at the Bellegrove Missionary Baptist Church of Syracuse, she was licensed into the gospel ministry.

Lady Tanyhill is employed by the Syracuse Police Department, where she is the Records (Division) Compliance Manager. Her passion for the field of Criminal Justice led her to go back to school, and in July of 2013, Lady Tanyhill received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Kaplan (now Purdue Global) University.

Lady Tanyhill is very committed to her ministry and focuses a lot of her ministry towards young adult women, letting them know that they don't have to settle for anything less than GODS best!

And when asked what motivates her in her ministry, she is quick to quote Psalms 91; "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty!"
